Sacred bamboo - (Nandina domestica)

An evergreen or semi-evergreen species, highly valued for its elegance. It can reach heights of 1.5 to 2 meters and a spread of about 1.5 meters.

The foliage changes color with the seasons, transitioning from green to brilliant red. It produces ornamental red berries during the winter that persist through spring. Growth is upright and fairly fast.

Regarding exposure, it prefers sunny or partially shaded locations and has low water requirements.

At our Plant Center, it is available both as the classic form, which is best suited for group plantings or large planters (N. domestica), and as the dwarf variety, highly appreciated for low borders or pots.
