Shrubs

Shrubs, or frutices, are perennial woody plants whose branches originate near ground level, typically keeping them under 6 to 7 meters in height. In fact, shrubs are characterized by growth that develops horizontally in width rather than vertically in height.

Many species that would naturally grow into trees can be maintained in a shrubby form through pruning.

They can be classified as climbing (e.g., jasmine) and non-climbing (e.g., camellia), as well as divided into evergreen (e.g., bay laurel) and deciduous (e.g., rose).

At our Plant Center, we offer numerous shrub species that are perfect for decorating and enhancing gardens and terraces.

Our wide selection ranges from common varieties to more niche options. Below is a quick overview of our best-selling and most popular shrubs.
