Umbrella tree - (Schefflera arboricola)

An evergreen, bushy indoor species, highly valued for its air-purifying qualities (it absorbs several airborne toxins, such as benzene, toluene, and formaldehyde).

Its container cultivation is quite simple; it should be placed in bright locations but cannot tolerate direct sunlight.

Regarding watering, as a general rule, water once a week during the warmer months and once a month during winter, always making sure to check that the soil is dry before watering again.
