An evergreen oak typical of the Mediterranean forest.

It can be cultivated both as a tree and as a shrub.

When used as a hedge, it can reach ideal heights for tall, dense screening barriers (over 4 meters).

Its growth rate is slow, requiring minimal pruning.

Highly hardy and drought-tolerant, it adapts well to all soil types and exposures.
